My mom and brother were over this afternoon to get haircuts and while they were here she reminded me of a Lorelei funny from a couple of weekends ago.
The four of us (my mom, Caleb, Lorelei and I) had taken a trip down to the WI Dells area. We ended up not being able to do much because we got rained out, but we did manage a visit to a friend of mine on Saturday afternoon. She has a daughter, Karen, who is five and another daugther Caitlin who is just about 18 months. The three older ones play together for hours on end and so the three adults sat in the kitchen and chatted.
Without any warning at all, Lorelei went running through the house towards the room where Caleb and Karen were carrying a magic wand of some sort. She swooped in, waved her wand and quite loudly commanded them to, "Make Love!".
Obviously, the grown ups almost choked on their drinks and cake and then laughed for a good ten minutes. Time to teach the girl a little more about the English language I think
