Playing At The Y

We went over to the Y this afternoon with the intent of the kids' getting to check out the mini daycare and Chris and I getting an hour or two of blissful silence...but it wasn't to be! The daycare closes at 2PM on Friday. So, after having to get a horrible picture of myself plastered onto my membership card, we took the kids to the small gym on the second floor with a soccer ball and a basketball and ran around and played for awhile. Soccer was the big hit and we all took turns (other than Lorelei) being goalie. Caleb was having a blast being goalie and just kicking the ball around. Afterwards we went into the teen area where the kids' watched a little tv and then played a game they made up at the pool table. Caleb also gave ping pong a try before we left. Thankfully they were well-behaved (an issue the last week or two) and had fun despite the change in plans.
