When I was a little girl my mom ordered an entire set of story books and cassettes. I would listen to them while paging through the books. Tape players are pretty much obsolete now, but my mom kept the collection and gave it to me for the kids. I picked up an old cassette player at St. Vincent de Paul and viola -- instant storyteller! The kids love having me put in a story or two before they go to sleep at night. I guess some things are good no matter how old they are.
