And, we're home...

After spending lots of time in the car, we finally got home around 4:15 this afternoon.

The kids had a great time hanging out at my aunt and uncle's home and suprisingly enough were not upset with us for not bringing any of their toys along. They were entertained quite well with baby toys and coloring books. Our Thanksgiving meal was delicious as always!

After spending most of our day with relatives we headed over to our hotel and the kids got to play in the pool with daddy. Mommy forgot her suit at home, and was unfortunately suffering a migraine. After 45 minutes we took them upstairs and got them all snuggled up for bed. They were out in less than 10 minutes!

I had a fitful nights sleep after taking Excedrin Migraine, so this morning I was the last one out of bed. We missed the hotel's free continental breakfast and had to settle for a meal at Perkin's.

On our way home we had to make a detour about an hour out of our way to pick up Duke at the kennel, but it was worth it to see how excited he was to have his family back. He kept trying to get over the backseats so he could play with the kids.

I made spaghetti for dinner as soon as we got home. And George is working on putting out the last of the outdoor Christmas lights on the bushes in the side and front yards. This weekend he's going to get the garage completely cleaned out so he can park his car where it belongs.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The countdown is on to Christmas!!!
