Instead of trying to keep track of extra paper for things like figuring out math problems or explaining concepts, I bought some very cheap Dollar Tree dry erase boards for both the kids this school year. Let me tell you -- they are handy! Since both kids have spelling tests on Friday's we used our dry erase boards to practice writing our spelling words tonight. No paper needed and when the kids were done they got to erase them and draw fun pictures instead. And, it's helping the kids learn how to save paper. All in all -- a win-win.
