Last Day of School

Well, I'm counting my chickens before they hatch, but I am now the mother of a 1st grader and a 3rd grader. Someone want to tell me how that happened?

Lorelei's report card clearly states that she has been promoted to the 1st grade. I don't have Caleb's yet, but since I got both an Honor Roll and a Homework Award certificates -- I think it's safe to say that he'll be promoted to 3rd grade.

I feel old. Really, really old.

On top of that, it's Lorelei's birthday next Saturday and she will turn 6. How is it possible that she's turning 6?? And a few weeks after that, Caleb will turn 8. *sigh*
