We haven't found any skates for Lorelei yet {and boy is she bummed!}, but tonight at Play-It-Again Sports we happened to find roller blades for Caleb for just $11! They'll need some new wheels, but $11 is still a great deal. I also came across some pretty much brand new blades that were being resold for just $49.99 since the store is closing. So, another great deal! As soon as we find some regular roller skates or some girl sized blades for Lorelei we'll be getting those too. Yay!
And now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that my mom bought me blades when I was a pre-teen or teen that I never really used and I'm sure wondering what happened to those. I'd definitely get use out of them now. I actually wonder if I ever even tried them on because I had no idea how comfortable roller blades were until I put some on tonight.
