Just Playing Today

It's been a quiet day here. The kids have been playing rather well today, other than for a few minor mishaps as happen between brother and sister. It was extraordinarily hot today, so we didn't make it outside until around 5:30 tonight for play. Our neighbors daughter Hannah joined the kids outside and they spent about two hours blowing bubbles, playing in the sand, singing, drawing with sidewalk chalk and just having a great time. Unfortunately our fun had to come to an end as we have storms headed out way. Right around 7:30 the sky started to get dark and the winds started picking up so we picked up and headed indoors. Now it's "quiet time" here. The kids are watching the Care Bears Big Wish Movie and I'm hoping they'll begin to settle down some. Tomorrow is Lorelei's last day of daycare and I have to work early so we'll be off and running not long after the sun rises.
