Bloody Lip

Tonight Lorelei came running from the playroom into the living room shrieking that she'd hit her lip. I look up at her and immediately see a lot of blood gushing from her mouth. I grab her and we head back into the kitchen where I grab the only washcloth I have out and quickly shove it in to soak up some of the blood. We check a few moments later and there is blood not only on the cut on her lip, but in her mouth. I have her swallow (just to check) and thankfully the blood in her mouth was a result of the lip. She has a pretty nice cut now that "hurts really bad!". Apparently, the plate from her toast this morning was the culprit. She fell lip first onto it. Bad mommy for not getting that picked up right away!
