The kids had an absolutely wonderful Christmas and got more presents than I think Santa had room for in his sack. Mommy went a little crazy this year and it shows because some of the presents are still in the packaging.
Caleb, Lorelei and I spent New Year's at home together. We drank sparkling berry juice and played some board games. The kids really enjoyed that and went to bed with smiles on their faces.
On January 2nd they finally went back to school after a long winter break. They were both tired this week trying to get back into the swing of our regular schedule. It's been nice to have that time again in the morning a few days a week to get some things done without a child underfoot.
