Caleb tried to pretend he was sick this morning and I had to wrestle shoes on his feet so we could walk out the door, not to mention brush his teeth. He showed off how sick he was by running and shooting his pretend missiles at Lorelei the entire walk to school.
Lorelei pretty much had me do everything but eat her breakfest for her. As usual she was in good spirits until her line started to make it's way into school and then the old lip quiver started. Which, of course, led to a few other lip quivers from the closest classmates. Got to love a trendsetter! One mom even said to her little girl, "Don't look at Lorelei." I had to laugh.
And mom is just glad it's Friday. Just because!
