Storm Pictures

These were taken last night before it got too dark. It snowed until almost 6PM here, but we still didn't end up with all that much. Maybe 3-4 inches at best? Regardless, this morning I'll have to drive the kids to school because it's a whopping 0 degrees and I don't want to torture the kids this early in the season.

First Snowfall

We got our first real taste of winter today in the form of snow! {12/07/2009} Yep, the white stuff is back and we were completely unprepared! Lorelei had to wear a pair of boys boots, the snowpants are a few inches too short and I had to wrangle up a new pair of gloves for miss Lorelei -- but they'll be warm anyway. I guess tonight we shop for winter stuff.

It's Snowing!

It's only been snowing about two hours, but we've got enough to show for it already. Estimates that I heard were 3-5 inches of the white stuff. I guess we'll see what actually falls.

George just went over to the school to pick up Caleb, or maybe not. We don't know sure if Caleb will have basketball tonight due to weather. If he does Daddy will be staying to watch since it's only an hour. I'm sure Caleb will love that!

Playing In Snow

We got a nice little winter storm to kick off December. The kids are just loving the freedom of being allowed outside, alone, to play in it. all pictures were taken through the patio door windows.
